Hoverflies

It wasn't until I started photographing hoverflies that I realised we had so many species. All sorts of shapes, sizes and body patterns. I'm certainly no expert and could have included more than one photo of the same species, but all are clearly different in markings. I have named them where reasonable confident to do so and used common names where they exist.
